1981 - Special Tax Benefit Passed

Ronald Reagan signs the Economic Recovery Tax Act of 1981 into law at his vacation home, Rancho del Cielo in August of 1981.

1981 tax law changes include a special level of new tax deductible contributions of 25 percent of pay, plus interest, for leveraged ESOPs.
