ESOPs to Be Featured at PGA Tour’s 3M Open in July

Minnesotans love their golf almost as much as they love snowmobiling! 

During the upcoming 3M Open, a PGA Tour event held at the Twin Cities Tournament Players Club just north of Minneapolis on July 23rd through July 27th, ESOPs will be getting into the swing of things alongside some of the world’s best golfers.

ESOP companies Plastic Products Company Inc. and Redpath Partners, and First Interstate Bank Trust, an ESOP service provider, are partnering to host an ESOP-themed cabin at the event. 

The three companies are planning to have customers, current ESOPs, service providers, prospective ESOPs and employee-owners and their families attend and join in celebrating and promoting employee ownership. In the middle of the celebration and promotion of ESOPs, guests can also witness some exciting world class professional golf on a very challenging golf course. 

The 3M Open (formerly the 3M Championship until 2019) has been held at TPC Twin Cities since 2001. It is an official PGA Tour stop and part of the prestigious FedEx Cup series, attracting the world’s elite golfers and thousands of enthusiastic golf fans every year. And since 2019 the 3M Open has donated more than $8 million to local charities, helping more than 1 million people.
