ESOP Association Announces 2022 Employee Owner of the Year

Sarah Limoges of Admix Inc. Earns Highest Individual Honor for Employee Owners

Washington, D.C. – The ESOP Association today announced that Sarah Limoges, lab assistant and sales rep at Admix Inc, based in Londonderry, NH, has been named 2022 Employee Owner of the Year. The award recognizes a non-management employee owner who creates a positive influence at their business and demonstrates a passion and enthusiasm for employee ownership and ESOPs. It is one of the highest honors that TEA bestows.

Advanced Mixing Technologies (Admix), a proud 100 percent employee-owned company, has been a premier manufacturer of sanitary and industrial mixing equipment for over 30 years. With a focus on innovation and superior customer service, Admix’s employee owners go the extra mile to exceed the expectations of their customers. As employee owners, Admix staff take a great interest in the day-to-day operation and growth of the company, and in knowing that their actions today will benefit customers, community and its employee owners in the future.

Since starting at Admix in February 2021, Sarah Limoges has made a great impact on the company. Her enthusiasm for her job was immediately apparent, and in addition to her duties as a lab assistant she soon took on more responsibility by also serving on Admix’s inside sales team. Sarah’s excitement for employee ownership soon landed her a spot on the company’s ESOP Committee, and within a few months she was elected as the committee’s co-chair. Since she began on the ESOP Committee, Sarah has been reenergizing the company’s commitment to employee ownership and finding new ways to engage, educate and motivate her fellow employees about the benefits of the ESOP.

“Sarah Limoges is one of the most deserving Employee Owner of the Year winners we’ve ever had,” said James Bonham, President and CEO of The ESOP Association. “It’s extremely gratifying to see a new employee embrace the culture of employee ownership so fully, and Sarah’s infectious enthusiasm is an example we all should follow. Congratulations to Sarah on this great honor!”

About The ESOP Association
The ESOP Association is the largest organization in the world supporting employee-owned companies, the more than 10 million U.S. employees who participate in an ESOP, and the professionals who provide services to them. Headquartered at the International Employee Ownership Center in Washington, DC and operating as a 501(c)6 organization with the affiliated Employee Ownership Foundation, The ESOP Association conducts and funds academic research, provides more than 160 annual conferences and events attended by nearly 15,000 individuals, and advocates on behalf of employee owners and their businesses to federal and state lawmakers. About Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs)
ESOPs are a retirement plan that provides employees with a chance to share in the profits they help create. Unlike 401(k)s, ESOPs typically have no out-of pocket-expense for employees. ESOP companies often excel at creating engaging workplace cultures and are far less likely to lay off their employees, according to national research. These plans can provide tax benefits for the business and the owners who sell their shares to an ESOP.
