Strategic planning is not just for executive leadership or the management team. I would go so far to say that the execution of your strategy happens with those employees who are closest to the customer, the product, or the service: The Front-Line Employees! If you believe in this assumption, you should be including them in developing your organization’s strategy. If you want their buy-in, you must get their input. If you want their input, you must first teach them about the business. You can start by teaching them how to set objectives, goals, tactics, and measures.

Urges Court to Consider Bowers + Kubota’s Appeal to Award Attorneys’ Fees After Company Was Vindicated in Overzealous, “Shoddy” Prosecution by Dept. of Labor

The House Committee on Appropriations recently released its report on proposed fiscal year 2025 funding for the Department of Labor, which included two very strong provisions affecting ESOPs.
With respect to ESOP company valuation and the adequate consideration exemption, the Committee noted that the DOL has neglected to provide critical regulatory guidance and asks the Department to prioritize formal rulemaking:
