TEA Wraps Up 2023 Chapter and Regional Fall Conferences

The ESOP Association
Great Lakes Regional Conference 2023

From Oregon to Massachusetts and from Minnesota to Florida, TEA’s Chapter team logged some serious miles in October, hosting chapter and regional fall conferences across America.

More than 3,000 employee owners participated in TEA’s fall chapter events, with the multichapter Midwest and Great Lakes conferences setting attendance records. With hundreds of educational sessions and dozens of roundtables, each chapter event featured high-quality education that was topical to the region and a location close to home for attendees. If you missed your Chapter’s fall conference, 2024 is right around the corner and many of TEA’s spring events are already listed. Please see the most updated schedule of events on pages 10 and 11 of the ESOP Report, and check TEA’s website for the latest news and information about programs and registration.

In addition to chapter events, the Employee Ownership Foundation held the second ESOP Employee Accelerator program of 2023 during the Great Lakes multichapter conference in Ohio. Participants spent a full day learning about business fundamentals and financials, getting a core education on ESOPs, reviewing real-life ESOP case studies, and simulating the operation of an ESOP. Learn more about the ESOP Employee Accelerator here, and check our schedule of events for future Accelerators near you!

And since October is also Employee Ownership Month, advocacy and ESOPATHON were key components of TEA’s recent fall events. Conference attendees learned how easy it is to get more involved with advocacy and ensure their ESOP benefits remain intact and strengthened for the long term. And many chapters got into the spirit of ESOPATHON by raising funds to benefit the Employee Ownership Foundation’s critical mission of growing employee ownership in America. The Great Lakes conference alone hosted a cornhole tournament, a silent auction AND a live auction to support the Foundation. In total, fundraising events at TEA’s fall conferences raised almost $20,000. There is also still time to donate on behalf of your chapter, just use this link!

Thank you to all our volunteer chapter leaders, participants, and sponsors who made TEA’s fall events so memorable in 2023!
