NPR Reports on Association’s Economic Performance Survey

by Patrick Mirza | Jan 23, 2019
The ESOP Association features prominently in a Dec. 10 NPR program on the value of ESOPs.
National Public Radio (NPR) recently aired a segment that discussed the benefits of ESOPS and prominently featured The ESOP Association’s Economic Performance Survey (EPS). To listen to the segment, which aired in early December on NPR’s Marketplace Morning Report, see the link at the end of this story.

The segment begins with the show’s host, David Brancaccio, stating: “A recent survey from the ESOP Association suggests the [ESOP] structure makes employee owners more productive.” The segment also includes comments from ESOP Association President J. Michael Keeling.

The suite of Marketplace programs—of which the Morning Report is one—reaches more than 14 million listeners nationwide, according to NPR.

The data from this year’s report show a continuing, positive experience among Association members, who report that ESOPs are a sound business decision that often leads to greater productivity and workplace efficiency.

Thanks to all our members who responded to this year’s survey: The data you provided led directly to NPR's nationwide, positive coverage of ESOPs.

The 2019 EPS will launch in late summer.
