The mission of The ESOP Association’s Communications Department is to assist members in working with local and national media outlets and to provide members with the information they need to be successful in those endeavors. To support the media outreach efforts of its members, the Communications Department has put together the following guidelines, which provide the basic information needed to write press releases, media advisories, and how to send calendar items to local newspapers. Don’t forget, newspapers are always on the lookout for a good story, and each member of The ESOP Association has a powerful tale to tell!
