May 15, 2007 (Washington, DC) – The Employee Ownership Foundation announced today that Joseph Cabral will take over as the new Chair of the Foundation. The Employee Ownership Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Foundation dedicated to promoting employee ownership and is an affiliate of The ESOP Association, a national trade association for employee owned companies.
As a former CEO and Chair of Chatsworth Products, Inc. in Westlake Village, California, a 100% employee owned company and manufacturer of structural support systems for technology equipment, Mr. Cabral has been actively involved with the Employee Ownership Foundation and the employee ownership community for many years. He has also served as The ESOP Association’s Chair, its highest elected official, Vice Chair, Board Member, and President of the California/Western States Chapter.
Effective May 1, 2007, Mr. Cabral will take the reigns from outgoing Chair Waite Dalrymple. Mr. Dalrymple, founder of the 100% employee owned Parametrix in Sumner, Washington, served as Chair of the Employee Ownership Foundation for the past four years.
