Iowa/Nebraska Chapter of The ESOP Association Recognized for Outstanding Membership Development

May 15, 2007 (Washington, DC) – The Iowa/Nebraska Chapter of The ESOP Association has been recognized for its commitment to membership development at The ESOP Association’s 30th Annual Conference in Washington, DC.  The ESOP Association is the national trade association for companies with employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and the leading voice in America for employee ownership.

The Iowa/Nebraska Chapter, selected from among 18 Association Chapters across the United States, has grown significantly over the last year with an increased membership of ESOP sponsors in the Chapter by 10%.

“The Iowa/Nebraska Chapter leadership is dedicated to growing its numbers and has succeeded this year compared to our other Chapters,” said J. Michael Keeling.  “I’m very pleased to present the Chapter with this honor for all the work they have done to promote employee ownership in Iowa and Nebraska.”

Founded in 1978, The ESOP Association represents over 1,400 ESOP companies who believe that employee ownership will improve American competitiveness, increase productivity through greater employee participation and strengthen our free enterprise economy.
