May 15, 2007 (Washington, DC) – Vernon Saper, a lawyer with Warner Norcross and Judd LLP in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has been presented with the 2007 Membership Recruitment Award for a Professional Member by The ESOP Association. The award was presented at the Association’s 30th Annual Conference in Washington, DC. The ESOP Association is the national trade association for companies with employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and the leading voice in America for employee ownership.
A member of The ESOP Association since 1991, Mr. Saper is a strong supporter of the Association and an active member of the Michigan Chapter. His commitment to employee ownership is evident in his work with ESOP companies and his diligence in promoting the Association and its work.
“Vern has done so much to build membership in the Grand Rapids area, which has the highest concentration of ESOP companies, of any mid-sized metropolitan area in America. In fact, there are more ESOP company members in the Grand Rapids area than all other metropolitan area in the United States,” said J.
