Kornfeld has been awarded The ESOP Association’s Life Service Award, the Association’s highest honor, for her commitment to employee ownership in America, and to The ESOP Association. The award was presented at the Association’s 31st Annual Conference in Washington, DC. The ESOP Association is the national trade association for companies with employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and the leading voice on employee ownership in America.
Ms. Kornfeld, President of ESOP Economics, Inc., located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, holds the distinction of having served in more leadership positions in the Association’s 30 year history than any other person. She has been a member of both the Board of Governors and the Board of Directors, is a Trustee of the Employee Ownership Foundation, the affiliated 501(c)(3) foundation of the Association, is the current Chair of the Association’s Advisory Committee on Fiduciary Issues and also a past Chair of the Association’s Advisory Committee on Finance and past Officer of the Pennsylvania/Delaware Chapter.
