May 13, 2008 (Washington, DC) – Merri Ash, VP, Retirement Plan Consulting, of First Bankers Trust Services, Inc. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has been presented with the 2008 Membership Recruitment Award for a Professional Member by The ESOP Association. The award was presented at the Association’s 31st Annual Conference in Washington, DC. The ESOP Association is the national trade association for companies with employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and the leading voice in America for employee ownership.
Ms. Ash is an original professional member of The ESOP Association and has been involved with the ESOP community for close to 30 years. Her commitment to employee ownership through ESOPs is evident in the work she has done in promoting the Association and its work and her work with ESOP companies through First Bankers Trust Services, Inc.
